We were inspired to make this cross by the Nepenthes Kohala grex out of Leilani Nepenthes Nursery which was (kampotiana x maxima) x (veitchii x fusca)

intermediate and lowland conditions and they seem to do very well which isn't surprising given the vigor of ventricosa "Denver"

The plants produce stunning lemon yellow pitchers

The cross is much faster growing than either parent and the pitchers attain a gorgeous cherry red. As the plant develops, its pitcher size really ramps up with new pitchers getting drastically larger with every leaf.
