Both varieties are harvested by hand and each sees a short period of skin contact before wild yeast fermentation in a mixture of large French and Austrian oak and stainless steel

Warre's Late Bottle Vintage Port 2009 heathcote-estate but always impressiveInky and concentrated, with opaque color given by the famous old vines of Retiro Antigo. This concentration combines perfectly with the freshness imparted by the wines from the higher lying Cavadinha vineyards to produce lovely fresh flavors of blackberry fruit. A wine of enormous elegance, combining vibrant lifted fruit with power and long lasting flavors. The wine was much enhanced by the exuberance of the Telhada Touriga Franca grapes.
